Portland Wrestling sponsored by Tom Peterson’s Happy Holidays Christmas Sweater

Tom Peterson was the longest running sponsor of Portland Wrestling, and a cultural fixture of the PNW with his furniture & appliance stores. The cartoon Tom Peterson face has been embedded into the cultural fabric of the NW, as seen in local print advertisements in the Oregonian, the once constant TV commercials, and his likeness emblazoned on t-shirts such as the one famously worn by Kurt Cobain. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the longevity of Portland Wrestling was partially due to Tom Peterson endorsing the show through his advertising. This years holiday offering honors that legacy of Tom Peterson’s (and Gloria’s too!)
