The crowning jewel of the Pacific Northwest territory, more notably Portland Wrestling, is the bona fide underdog "Playboy" Buddy Rose! Time hasn't always been fair to those performers who worked during the days when wrestling was booked in territories, especially once all the promoters folded to the giant that is WWF. Although Rose wrestled everywhere, working for just about every promoter and drawing big money wherever he went, his legacy hasn't been rightfully acknowledged by the likes of WWF/WWE and is often remembered for the things he did in the twilight of his career. In an effort to correct that legacy rightfully so, here's the "Playboy" as he should be remembered in the prime of his career like when he main evented Madison Square Garden and the Philadelphia Spectrum in 1982 for the World Title. Many thanks to Gregory Meleny for his collaboration and for helping pay tribute to Buddy Rose affectionately.
